Greeting Card Facts

The Cards That Give Twice support charitable causes throughout the world. Good Cause Greetings donates a minimum of ten percent of the revenue from the sale of each card directly to the specific charity whose work is described on the back of each card.

Card Specifications:

• All cards measure 5" x 7" when folded. Charity Calendar cards measure 5 5/8" x 7 7/8" when folded and 7 7/8" x 16 ½" unfolded. Custom photo cards measure 5 5/8” x 7 7/8”.
• The paper is the highest quality 12 pt. coated card stock.
• Every Good Cause Greetings card is eco-friendly. Chlorine-free recycled paper is used exclusively. All paper is certified by both FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative). 
• The ink that provides the bold, bright colors is soy based.
• Good Cause Greetings card designs are original works of art. Most of the artwork was created exclusively to reflect the work of the charity the card supports. These unique designs are not available from any other card company.
• There is no foil, glitter or other unnatural treatments on Good Cause Greetings charity cards. That makes the finished cards totally recyclable as well.
• Using recycled fibers and eliminating chlorine in the production process is the right thing to do. As a result, tiny blemishes in the paper stock may be visible. We do our best to sort out cards with any egregious imperfections.  If you see a small blemish, think of it as a seal of approval from Mother Nature.

Envelopes:

• Good Cause Greetings' standard envelope is made from 24-lb. white wove paper and features a square flap.
• Envelope options include:
  • Gold or silver foil-lined
  • Self-sealing envelopes
  • Coordinating red or green envelopes are available, although not recommended for personalized orders. If you prefer red or green envelopes, please indicate this in the "Comments" section of your on-line order.
