Environmentally Friendly Products: Unlike most card companies that feature a small collection of "green" products, every Good Cause Greetings card is eco-friendly. From the day the first card was printed, chlorine-free recycled paper has been used exclusively. Paper is sourced from an assortment of mills but it all meets very strict criteria:

• All paper is recycled and certified by both FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative). No chlorine is used in the production of Good Cause Greetings' paper stock.
  
• The ink that provides the bold, bright colors is soy based.
  
• There is no foil, glitter or other unnatural treatments on Good Cause Greetings charity cards. That makes the finished cards totally recyclable as well. As our printer says, "You could eat these cards."
  
• Using recycled fibers and eliminating chlorine in the production process is the right thing to do. As a result, tiny blemishes  in the paper stock may be visible. We do our best to sort out cards with any egregious imperfections.  If you see a small blemish, think of it as a seal of approval from Mother Nature.
